Single Story Homes
Pre-slab Inspection
- A Pre-slab Inspection occurs prior to the slab pour. We check the position of steel, correct size of steel. formwork, waffle pods, termite barriers to penetrations etc.
Frame Inspection
- The Frame Inspection takes place after the wall and roof frames have been completed. We check the frame for plumb, the position of frame on slab, general condition of finished slab, height of frame, tie downs and braces etc.
Pre-Plaster/ Frame Inspection
- We offer a cost effective dual inspection at this crucial stage of your build.
Pre-plaster
- The Pre-plaster Inspection occurs after the roof is on and the doors and windows are installed. We check walls for straightness, plumbing and electrical rough-ins have been completed, facia, guttering and we access the roof if possible. I also check any defects from the frame stage inspection have been rectified.
Waterproofing
- The Waterproofing Inspection ensures the Wet Areas have been waterproofed correctly and to code before tiling commences.
Fix Out/Pre-paint
- We inspect the tiling, doors, architraves, skirting boards, and general appearance & check the preparation of the job is ready to paint.
Practical Completion
- We usually attend with you and the Builder/Site Supervisor to walk through the entire build, inside and out to point out and mark any defects ie. painting, damage etc. I check to ensure that all inclusions and/or variations have been installed and the overall quality of the construction is acceptable
PCI Re-inspect prior to Handover
- We re-inspect to confirm rectification of defects from practical completion inspection.
