We encourage you to speak directly with the building inspector who conducted your inspection. That way you’re dealing with the person who has first-hand knowledge of the property you’re buying. They will talk you through any sections of the report you are unsure about.

Your Inspector carries a Ladder, Torch and Termatrac Termite Detection Radar, Remote Thermal Sensor and Moisture Sensor. The Termatrac is the most advanced device in the world developed purely to detect, confirm and track the presence of termites. It allows termite inspections to be completed more accurately.

You will receive your report on the same day as your inspection. Please note that payment must be received prior to the inspection taking place.

A typical combined building and pest inspection will take between one to two hours.

We will work with your agent to arrange a time that is suitable to all parties. Once you have provided your agents details we will make contact with them to work into their schedule.  If you have already found a time that works with your agent, let us know and we will try to accommodate the allocated time.

We welcome owners and buyers to be present at the time of inspection. However, we ask that you leave the inspector to carry out the inspection and wait to ask your questions at the completion of the inspection. This allows the inspector to concentrate solely on assessing the property to deliver a non-biased report.

WHAT IS A BUILDING AND PEST INSPECTION?2020-02-26T23:14:37+00:00

A building and pest inspection is undertaken prior to a buyer purchasing a property, and is generally a condition of sale. It is essential that you appoint an experienced, licensed building and pest inspector to carry out the inspection to ensure all major and minor defects are reported. The inspector will provide a written report on the property noting any defects found, your report will also include photos of all identified issues.
